SkillsEdge is also in a position to provide supporting consultancy services for Knowledge Assessment.
This can take the form of assisting customers with interpretation of results for e.g. group or individual de-briefing sessions, help with recommending custom-built training courses, design and implementation of special software requirements to match individual customer needs and the production of bespoke assessments reflecting specific requirements and terminology as used in client companies in various industries.
An example of a bespoke assessment was carried out for BUPA, the Healthcare company, to represent the business language used by that organisation for internal candidates taking, in this case, the Project Management Capability Assessment. A similar exercise was carried out for BT, Babcox and Wilcox, and Hyder to change the nature of the questions whilst still preserving the integrity and accuracy of the assessments.
In addition, several multi-national organisations have asked SkillsEdge to produce hybrid assessments to support their involvement in the areas of Sales and General Management.
The latest development is that SkillsEdge has been approached to produce a wide variety of further business practitioner assessments covering such areas as Supply Chain Management and even the professions such as Law and Accountancy.
In all cases, one of the appropriate test authors would take responsibility for such work.
